I'm an American and jew, but am ***TOTALLY*** opposed to Zionism and the Zionist project, Israel. Israel is a mistake. The belief held by the overwhelming majority of the US Jewish community in the just nature and legitimacy of Israel ***is a mistake***. Israel is a geopolitical crime-in-progress and can only end badly. It is essentially the next holocaust -- the next reaction against Jewish abuse of non-jews -- in the making.
As a jew, I wish it weren't so. I wish the jews would recognize their error and change course. But five-thousand years of exploiting non-jews and refusing to treat them as anything but "the other", has had a consistent and predictable result, and I see zero likelihood that the jews will recognize the problem and break from their self-destructive habit.
It has been apparent to me ***from the start*** that the Zionists wanted ***ALL*** of Palestine (actually, all of ancient Israel -- eretz Israel -- from the Euphrates to the Nile). And so, according to plan, they have been absorbing ever more of the land assigned by the international community to the Palestinians. (The Zionists don't care a fig about what the international community thinks. Only the chosen ones matter. The goyim are less than human and presumptively anti-semitic, ie, the other, the enemy.)
The international community has been slow to see the larger goal of the Zionist plan, despite the self-evident trajectory of unrelenting expansion. Mostly this is because the superbly organized Zionist media control of the narrative has hoodwinked the little people of the world into believing in Israel's "legitimacy", and the focused campaign-finance-mediated control of the political class -- carrot and stick: "we can finance you or we can finance your opponent" -- in the western "liberal democracies" has subdued and subverted any political opposition to Zionism.
So the Zionists are on the brink of having all of Palestine, and then moving on to the next step. This is the part that I see coming but that the rest of the world will continue to refuse to see until it emerges into the open:
Once the Israelis have it all, they will want the Palestinians gone, and will begin the process of removing them. Probably, if the Zionist narrative is any indication, they will work to move them to Jordan, claiming that Jordan is really actually Palestine, and consequently that's where they should go. That move would be -- barring setbacks to the unrelenting Zionist expansion -- temporary, since eventually the Zionists will want Jordan as well.
This is where things are headed. But I suspect that before much longer, the Zionist program will provoke the inevitable "correction" and Israel will cease to exist.
Israel’s One-State Reality Is Sowing Chaos In American Politics
